Welcome to Bangkit Academy Application Process
Bangkit is a career readiness program that aims to produce high-caliber technical talent for world-class Indonesian technology companies and startups, fully supported by Google, GoTo, Tokopedia, and Traveloka.
This career-readiness has been acknowledged by President Jokowi and praised by Minister Nadiem Makarim (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology). Bangkit successfully trained thousands students from across Indonesia to help them grow in-demand skills in tech throughout the Bangkit Academy.

Application Process
Applicants must complete all five sections in order to be considered for Bangkit Academy. Please periodically check your email to ensure that you do not miss any Bangkit Academy registration-related information (including spam, junk, or promotion folders).

Fill & Complete Bangkit Academy Interest Form (if you haven't)
Upon completion, you will receive an email containing a copy of your Interest Form (confirmation of the application).

Submit Your Application Form (if you haven’t)
Kindly complete the Application Form that has been sent to you via email with accurate information.
Bangkit Team will then check your eligibility. If you’re eligible, you will receive email with credentials and a guide for assessments. -

Dicoding Assessment
Eligible candidates will get a Dicoding Token for Interest purpose.

Registration in Kampus Merdeka Platform
Apply to Kampus Merdeka Platform.
Kampus Merdeka Program for most universities under MoECRT, please proceed to MSIB platform to complete your registration.
Registration for Kampus Merdeka Mandiri
Apply as Kampus Merdeka Mandiri Program.
If your universities are sekolah kedinasan, keagamaan (under Ministry of Religion Affair), or from other ministries outside MoECRT, please wait for our follow up email

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Yes. As an inclusive program, Bangkit Academy also accepts Student from Universities that is not under of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (MoECRT)- such as UIN under Ministry of Religion Affairs, STMM MMTC under Kominfo, STMKG under BMKG – as long as it’s approved by the university (Students’ involvement, SKS Credits, etc).
Students from Universities Under MoECRT will have to go through additional process of registering thru Kampus Merdeka Platform.
Applicants were considered for acceptance into Bangkit Academy based on the entirety of their application including all eligibility criteria. Due to the number of applicants, we were unable to accept all applicants. Only completed applications (including assessment test, commitment letter, and administratively complete applicants) were considered for selection.
The minimum semester criteria throughout the program duration are as follows:
- Active student at least in the 4th semester for D3 students.
- Active student at least in the 5th semester for D4/S1 students.
Due to eligibility requirements for Kampus Merdeka, we regret to inform you that you are ineligible to be considered for Bangkit Academy if you do not meet the minimum criteria.
However, your university has the final say on eligibility and anyone who meets the requirements for admission will be given equal consideration.
No. Students may only enroll in one learning path.
The application assessments will be used to evaluate your preparedness to become an active, engaged learner in Bangkit Academy. Your results will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility and qualifications for successfully participating in this rigorous program.
Yes. Each applicant must complete all of the application steps in order to be considered for admission into Bangkit Academy.
As an applicant, you will need to prepare:
- A quiet environment (no people in proximity is recommended)
- Computer or Laptop with a fully-charged battery.
- A stable and reliable internet connection and possibly backup connections.
- Paper and pen/pencils (optional, in case you need to visualize or take notes).
- Calculator (optional).
No. You will be given only one opportunity to complete the required assessments.
There are no penalty for wrong answers.
