It will be ideal if the attendees have the following profile:
1. Knowledge in Database Administration
2. Familiarity with IBM Informix and Replication (optional)
3. Familiarity with Raspberry Pi
4. It will be desirable if the attendees are technical or can easily grasp technical concepts
Expectations
after Day 1. The attendees should be able to install and start-up an IBM Informix instance.
after Day 2 (and/or Day 3). The attendees should have a clear understanding of IBM Informix as IoT engine. They should also be able to configure a running IoT setup.
Devices needed:
1. Windows or Linux machine
2. Raspberry Pi 3 and 16Gb or more storage (install Raspbian) -> please bring your own if you have, we have limited quantity
3. Edge device (preferably TI SensorTags) --> Provided
